Here’s How You Can Use Baker’s Athletics Complex and Running Track as a Member of the Upper Manhattan Community | Colombia

Members of the North Manhattan community are welcome to use the track during times designated by the facilities team at Baker Athletics Complex. Schedules are updated weekly on this website under “Access to tracking” to ensure that the most timely information is available.

Game tickets

All seats for Columbia Athletics games held at the complex are free, with the exception of football. You can find the schedule of upcoming matches here.

Each year, 3,000 tickets to Columbia Football games are made available to community organizations that express an interest. You can discover how to request tickets under “Games Tickets” on this website.

Manhattan North Neighbors Appreciation Day

Each year, Columbia Football hosts Manhattan’s North Neighbor Appreciation Day, when tickets to the football game are free to the community.

This year’s game will take place on October 8, 2022, when Columbia University takes on Wagner College at 1:00 p.m. You can find more information at how to redeem tickets here, under “Games Tickets”.

Dick Savitt Tennis Center

Residents of Upper Manhattan can purchase Dick Savitt Tennis Center memberships without the sponsorship of current members. You can find more information here.

Muscota Swamp

Muscota Marsh, formerly known as Boathouse Marsh, has recently undergone major wetland restoration. Columbia is responsible for maintaining public access to the Harlem River through the Muscota Marsh East Dock, which was revamped and completed earlier this yearfor small non-motorized boats.

Facility rental

Community organizations can rent facilities at the Baker Athletics Complex at the “Columbia rate”. You can find more information and who to contact about this under “Rental of facilities”.

Colombia Camps
