When you create a Discord server, you do so with a purpose. Maybe you’re making one for people to join in and have a good time, or maybe you’re making one specifically for a virtual Dungeons and Dragons session. Discord servers are a fun and free way to bring people together virtually and have a good time. That being said, if no one joins, a server may take up space in your server column. Maybe things are spiraling out of control and you have to start over. If you think it’s time to disband, you’ll need to know how to delete a Discord server.

QUICK RESPONSE
To delete a Discord server, go to your Discord server and click the down arrow at the top, next to your server name. Click on Server settings > Delete Server. Click on the red Delete Server button once more on the warning window to finish.

Deleting your Discord server removes everyone, including yourself, from the server. After that, the server is closed.
Find your Discord server in the leftmost sidebar list. Click on it.

Click the server menu button next to your server name. It looks like a down arrow.

In the drop-down menu, click Server settings.

Scroll down the menu on the left side until you see Delete Server; click on it.

You will receive one last final warning before your server is taken down. If you’re sure you want to delete your Discord server, click Delete Server.

If you’re on the go and don’t have access to a computer, you can still manage your Discord server using your phone. You can reply to messages, manage the user list, etc., including deleting the entire server.
Open the Discord app and tap your server icon to access your server. press the ⠇button at the top, above all server channels.

A Delete Server will appear. Tap it, then enter your Discord passcode if you have one. If not, just press Remove.
