Whether we love or hate email, there’s no denying that email is a necessity for work and personal life. It’s the best way to reach a colleague or long-lost family or friends. And our iPhones have a built-in messaging app that lets us communicate with others all over the world.

In iOS 16, the Mail app gets significant improvements that will bring it in line with some of the best third-party mail apps. The new features allow us to schedule emails, cancel an email sent, and even “snooze” an email at a later time that’s more convenient for us to respond to it. You can use these cool new features if you have iOS 16 on your iPhone or iPad.

Here’s how to schedule and unsend an email in the iOS 16 Mail app.

Apple occasionally releases updates for iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas. Although betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that may prevent normal use of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV or Mac, and are not intended for everyday use on a main device. This is why we strongly recommend that you stay away from developer previews unless you need them for software development, and use public betas with caution. If you depend on your devices, wait for the final version.
