The individual Google Workspace plan gets new features

Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) is a cloud-based productivity suite that helps individual users and office teams connect and work from anywhere, on any device.

In a blog post, Google said that individual users of Workspace will get a massive upgraded storage capacity of 1TB instead of 15GB, which is the same as free personal accounts. This means that users won’t have to worry about their storage space running out. Each account will be automatically upgraded from existing storage from 15GB to 1TB when Google rolls it out. The search giant says “As you grow your business, it’s natural for you to have more documents, data and digital assets to manage and store, and Google Drive lets you do this securely from anywhere. device.

Along with the increased storage, Google is also rolling out other features like Merge Tags for Gmail that will allow users to send personalized emails to recipients. When sending bulk emails to multiple people at once, users will be able to insert merge tags such as “@firstname” and “@lastname” into their text. When sending messages, these tags will be replaced with the recipient’s first and last name, creating more personalized emails. This feature will be available to Google Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Starter, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, and Workspace Individual users.
