Travis Scott Unveils New Track at BBMAs in First Post-Astroworld Tragedy TV Performance

American rapper Travis Scott delivered his first television performance on the stage at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

The 31-year-old singer dropped an unreleased new song which would have been titled forever lost.

He made his first TV performance since the tragic incident at the Astroworld festival in November last year.

The rapper took the stage and performed his single Mafia in a frozen polar-themed set with heavily censored lyrics at the star-studded event, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Besides Scott, controversial singer Morgan Wallen as well as other big name artists like Megan Thee Stallion, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Silk Sonic, Ed Sheeran, Mary J Blige and Florence and the Machine also performed at the ceremony.

the Goose bumps The singer has already made his first public live performance to a sold-out crowd at Miami nightclub E11EVEN last week – six months after the Astroworld tragedy left 10 dead and dozens injured.

Additionally, Scott is currently accused in more than 380 lawsuits brought by Astroworld victims and participants seeking billions of dollars in damages from him, festival organizer Live Nation, Apple and others.
