Owners of a Korean restaurant in Winnipeg hope their robot waiter will keep customers coming back for dinner safely.

Dirk and Michelle Wang, owners of Hong Du Kkae on Pembina Highway, added the nameless talking automaton with wheels to their staff in February.

“It’s really helped actually.… The kids love them. Customers are interested, they’re doing photoshoots, they’re taking videos, and our servers obviously love them. We want to make their job easier, right? not ?” said Michelle Wang.
